Barnaby Frisco

Detective Barnaby Frisco has a shattered past. When his old partner, Bones Goodwin, fell in love and became obsessed with his with wife (Adriana). His love for her led him to take matters into his own hands and  ended Bone's life in cold blooded murder for the safety of his Wife and him. This haunts him everyday. He has never come to terms with what he did and will not anytime soon. Everyday is a struggle and a lie with only him, Bones and Adriana knowing the truth of what happened. Le Mortel Liaison joins Barnaby as he returns to his Detective job after a period of personal leave.

Adriana Frisco

The cause of Barnaby and Bone's dispute, Adriana is a housewife with a difference. She was once lady of the town, all men wanted her and all women envied her. Ever since the incident this celebrity status has diminished with her being a shadow of her former self. She has kept herself to herself and Barnaby gets little out of her.  

Bones Goodwin

Barnaby's ex partner, presumed dead after his mysterious disappearance. He had a murderous attraction to Adriana. He returns back from the dead in "Le Mortel Liaison" as he lays a series of events to lure Frisco to his death.

Reason for Location Change.

We originally decided to choose Paris as a location to set our Film. Using establishing shots and Parisian sound effects we would create the illusion that our film was set in Paris. To do this I would film shots of Paris landmarks such as the Eiffel tower and also things such as the Subway. These would be shown during the opening credits.

We have decided as a group that setting the film in Paris was to ambitious, and also that it didn't add anything to the plot and wouldn't make sense, with characters being English, speaking English and also having English names.
